Cloud Nine is home to ten animal residents — each with a distinct personality that makes the land feel alive. Here is their story.
MooLinda, O'hana & Brutus
The Gentle Matriarchs
O'hana is the eldest of our Highland trio — a fiesty redhead with a bold personality to match her stunning coat. MooLinda is the middle child and is as sweet as can be, greeting every guest with soft eyes and a gentle calm that melts your heart instantly. Then there's Brutus, our bull calf — he looks just like a teddy bear and is every bit as lovable. Together, these three are the soul of Cloud Nine.
Daisy Mae & Benny
The Noble Spirits
Daisy Mae is our beautiful white horse — graceful, serene, and completely at home in the Alabama landscape. She loves to roam the upper pasture and will often be found resting in the sun, keeping a watchful eye over the land. Benny, her loyal donkey companion, is never far from her side. These two are inseparable, and watching them together against the rolling green hills is one of Cloud Nine's most heartwarming everyday moments.
Nora, Harvey & Pearl
The Woolly Wanderers
Nora, Harvey, and Pearl are the gentle comedians of Cloud Nine. Nora leads with confident strides, Harvey follows with cheerful curiosity, and Pearl — always slightly distracted by an interesting patch of clover — brings up the rear. Their soft bleating is a constant warm soundtrack to mornings on the property. They love nothing more than a slow wander through the lower meadow, and they are extraordinarily soft to the touch.
Ham & Cheese
The Pond Philosophers
Ham & Cheese are Cloud Nine's most entertaining duo. These two brown ducks waddle around the property with a confidence that far exceeds their size, always together and always on the move. Whether they're exploring the garden or strutting through the pasture, they bring endless charm and laughter to anyone lucky enough to cross their path.
